Extra praise was garnered by Nutanix and PowerSchool for being best loved by our judges, many of whom said it was an honor to judge their sites.
In addition, Medallia received an award for Best Integration of Aquisitions. “This is a common challenge for support organizations and was the main challenge faced by Medallia this year. They did an absolutely outstanding job of meeting that challenge,” noted Hahn. “Our members will benefit from reading about Medallia in our report on this year’s competition”
Honorable mention was earned by NextDoor for being the best consumer support website. “Our scoring is weighted a bit in favor of technical support as many of our members are software companies. Despite some small scoring penalties, NextDoor’s very focused website was very well received by our judges. They did not quite make our top scores, but they were close and will be a company to watch next year. Their users are being well-served by this support website.”
ASP has held this competition for over 20 years. It has changed in that time to keep pace with ever-evolving technology and user expectations. Every site entered is evaluated by five independent judges. Each receives a confidential report detailing their average scores in 22 different areas of their site versus the overall average scores for all entrants. Judges’ comments and recommendations are also included. Two reports will be published regarding this year’s competition in about six weeks. One covers trends noted, along with information about the sites from winning entrant’s entries. The other covers benchmarks of performance in the 22 areas scored by judges. These reports are free to ASP members and can be purchased by non-members. For more information or to join, email ahahn@asponline.com or go to www.asponline.com.
